This elastomer kit allows you to upgrade your Sim Pedals Sprint brake pedal to our latest injection molded thermoset elastomers.


Brake pedal feel is critical to your simulator experience. Continued development has resulted in these new thermoset brake elastomers, which were first introduced on our Sim Pedals Ultimate+. You now have the option to replace the previous specification brake rubbers on your Sim Pedals Sprint with these new thermoset elastomers.

Please note that these new elastomers may already be installed in your Sim Pedals Sprint. This is likely to be the case if you purchased your Sim Pedals Sprint as of January 2022.

If your rubbers/elastomers have markings on the top indicating length and strength ("soft" or "hard"), you already have the new specification installed. If there are no markings, you have the old specification to be upgraded.


The main advantages of using these new elastomers compared to the previous specification rubbers are as follows:

  • A much more progressive braking feel. When applying force to the brake initially there will be more travel. Then, the brake pedal feel will gradually but very distinctly stiffen.
  • Firmer rebound and stroke characteristics. Especially in rebound (i.e. when you decrease the force you exert on the brake), a smaller decrease in braking force is required for the pedal to start moving back to its initial position.
  • Increased durability. Extensive testing has shown that these new elastomers have a near-zero failure rate and show no performance degradation even after 1 million cycles.

We would like to point out that this is an optional upgrade. The previous specification brake rubbers will also serve you very well for many years, albeit with slightly different performance characteristics.

What is included?

The Sim Pedals Sprint elastomer kit contains the following components:

  • 1x 19 mm hard elastomer.
  • 1x soft elastomer 19 mm.
  • 1x soft elastomer of 28 mm.
  • 1x soft elastomer 37 mm.

The length and hardness of the elastomer (soft/hard) are printed on the side of the elastomers.

All other components of the rubber brake stack (such as the black discs and spacers) should be reused from your original Sim Pedals Sprint brakes.

The diagram below shows all possible configurations. The hardest configuration is at the top and the softest at the bottom.

Force curves

With this kit you can adjust a total of 6 force curves. All possible curves can be seen in the graph below. The hardest setting is on the left and the softest on the right.

This elastomer kit is compatible with all versions of Sim Pedals Sprint and Sim Pedals Sprint - Team Redline Edition.

Before purchasing the elastomer kit, please check to see if you already have the new elastomers. If your rubbers/elastomers have markings on the side indicating length and strength ("soft" or "hard"), you already have the new specification installed. If there are no markings, you have the old specification rubbers.

The elastomer kit is not compatible with the following products:

  • Sim Pedals Ultimate (not "plus" version): The inside diameter of these elastomers does not match the diameter of the brake rod on the classic Sim Pedals Ultimate. This kit also does not include the required black discs and spacers, damage to the elastomer will occur if the original metal discs are used. If you would like to upgrade your classic Sim Pedals Ultimate, please see the Sim Pedals Ultimate upgrade kit.
  • Sim Pedals Pro: This kit is not designed to be compatible with Sim Pedals Pro. The hardware required to install the elastomer kit is supplied with the Sim Pedals Sprint only.

Cut-off times:
11 a.m. GMT+1 from Monday to Friday. We aim to ship all orders placed before 11:00 a.m. GMT+1 the same day, but during peak periods this is not always possible.

As soon as your order is shipped, your tracking number will automatically be sent to the email address you provided in your order.

Please note that it is completely normal for multiple item orders to be split in transit. Each individual package is labelled and barcoded and will arrive at its destination. If you find that part of your order has been delivered and part is still in transit, this is almost always rectified within a day or two.

If you are concerned, you can contact the customer service department of your local freight forwarder with your tracking number.

If you have any problems with products that are still under warranty, you must first contact us by email at [email protected]. We will do our best to help troubleshoot the problem with you before contacting the manufacturer. If we are unable to fix the problem, the products must be returned to our warehouse, including details such as the serial number and any available backup images or video. Simufy will provide you with a return label and cover the cost of the return. We will then work with the manufacturer to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

Please note that we do not issue replacements for any item under warranty until the manufacturer has repaired or replaced the item and returned it to us. If the manufacturer deems the problem is not covered under warranty, you will be billed for the inbound and outbound shipping charges due to return the item to you.
We offer a full 2 year manufacturer's warranty on all products unless otherwise stated.

We like to make things as easy as possible, if you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase, you can return it with no administrative or handling fees. The item must be unused with original packaging and returned within 14 days of purchase for an exchange or full refund, less any one-way or return shipping charges imposed by the courier service.

Please note that we do not cover the cost of return shipping. We suggest using your national postal service to return the goods. If the goods do not reach us, we are not in a position to exchange or refund the item. The customer is responsible for the goods until they have been received by us.

When an item is returned, we will inspect and refund as quickly as possible, usually within 1-2 working days. The time it takes for refunds to be registered in the customer's bank accounts varies from bank to bank, but usually takes 1-3 working days.
