Frequently asked questions about PIMAX

Which Pimax headset is right for me?

The Crystal Light (35 PPD) is the entry point to the Crystal range and needs no base stations. The Crystal Super takes interchangeable optical engines: the 57 PPD, the 140° Ultra-Wide and the 8K Micro-OLED. The Dream Air and Dream Air SE are ultralight headsets with Micro-OLED panels, under 170 g and under 140 g respectively.

Do Pimax headsets work with a console or without a PC?

No. The Pimax headsets in our catalogue are PCVR: they connect to a PC via a DisplayPort cable. The Pimax Portal is an Android handheld console, not a PCVR headset.

Are Pimax headsets suitable for flight simulation?

Yes. The Crystal Super and Dream Air SE, among others, are designed for both sim racing and flight simulation on PC, where resolution and field of view help you read instruments and references.

Which accessories improve comfort?

There is the Ice Silk face foam, the 15 mm Facial Foam Comfort Kit, the Crystal Comfort Topstrap, the DMAS off-ear audio strap and a silicone protective cover.

Pimax at Simufy: VR headsets for sim racing and flight

Pimax makes high-resolution, wide field-of-view PCVR virtual reality headsets that are widely used in sim racing and flight simulation. All the headsets in our catalogue connect to a PC via a DisplayPort cable.

The Crystal range starts with the Crystal Light, with 35 PPD, a QLED panel and inside-out tracking without base stations. The Crystal Super lets you swap optical engines: the 57 PPD, the 140° Ultra-Wide and the 8K Micro-OLED with Sony panels. The Dream Air range focuses on weight: the Dream Air weighs under 170 g with Sony Micro-OLED panels and a 110° field of view, and the Dream Air SE comes in under 140 g with 105°. Pimax also makes the Pimax Portal, an Android handheld console.

To complete your simulator, pair the headset with a sim racing cockpit or a flight cockpit, and add comfort accessories such as the Ice Silk foam, the 15 mm foam kit, the Comfort Topstrap or the DMAS audio strap.

At Simufy we are the official Pimax distributor for Spain and Europe, and we help you choose a headset for your PC and use. We ship within 24/48 h to mainland Spain, within 24–72 h to the rest of Europe, and to the rest of the world according to our shipping policy.
