Which VIRPIL joystick is right for me?

The range is built around bases and grips. The WarBRD-D and MongoosT-50CM3 bases pair with grips such as the Constellation ALPHA, ALPHA Prime, FLNKR or CDT-AERO, while the CDT-AEROMAX is sold as a complete flightstick. If you prefer a ready-made package, the ALPHA Prime bundles combine base, grip and, depending on the bundle, a throttle. We will help you choose based on the simulator you fly.

What is the difference between a HOTAS and a HOSAS bundle?

A HOTAS combines a joystick and a throttle; a HOSAS uses two joysticks, one for each hand, a common setup for space simulation. VIRPIL offers HOTAS bundles with the WarBRD-D, WarBRD-D CADET and MongoosT-50CM3 bases, and a HOSAS bundle with two WarBRD-D bases, all in ALPHA Prime edition.

Does VIRPIL make hardware for helicopters and civil aviation?

Yes. For helicopters there are the Rotor TCS and Rotor TCS Plus collective bases with the Hawk-60, SharKa-50 and Dual-SF grips. For civil aviation, the Vector yoke base with the Constellation VEGA, VEGA B-JET and P-JET handles, modules such as the PRM-HAT and PRM-HES, and the modular Vector Engine, Gear and Lighting MCP panels.

How are VIRPIL devices configured?

With the VPC Configuration Tool, VIRPIL's software for updating firmware, creating and configuring profiles and calibrating sensors. To edit profiles or calibrate, the device firmware version and the configurator version must match.

VIRPIL Controls at Simufy: joysticks, throttles, yokes and panels

VIRPIL Controls makes flight simulation controls with a modular approach: bases, grips, throttles, collectives, yokes, rudder pedals and panels that combine with each other and are configured with its VPC Configuration Tool software.

For joysticks, the WarBRD-D and MongoosT-50CM3 bases take grips such as the Constellation ALPHA, ALPHA Prime, FLNKR or CDT-AERO, and the CDT-AEROMAX comes as a complete flightstick. The throttles range from the compact CDT-VMAX to the 7-axis VMAX Prime, via the MongoosT-50CM3 and MongoosT-50CM4, and the HOTAS and HOSAS ALPHA Prime bundles bring base, grip and throttle together in a single purchase.

For helicopters there are Rotor TCS and Rotor TCS Plus collective bases with Hawk-60, SharKa-50 and Dual-SF grips.
