To round off a busy July 2024 full of events, Simufy also attended the second edition of eSports City Fest Andorra, the event where the top-ranked players in the eSports City League contested the in-person finals on 26 and 27 July at the Andorra la Vella Congress Centre.
What is eSports City Fest Andorra?
eSports City Fest Andorra is a gaming festival that includes tournaments in world-famous games, a video game area for all audiences, visits and participation by influencers and content creators, and virtual reality experiences.
The 2024 programme included in-person competitions in MarioKart, Tekken 8 and FC24 (FIFA), a free-play area with games such as League of Legends, Valorant, Fortnite, F1 (Simracing), Clash Royale and Brawl Stars, and areas dedicated to gaming and virtual reality. It also included a professional Brawl Stars circuit, open to amateurs, and the City Fest was also the venue for several wildcards in the final stage of the GeoGuessr World Cup.
But eSports City Fest Andorra is not only a competitive eSports event; it also has a leisure side aimed at fans of video games and "Urban Style", which in 2024 included spaces with music shows, a 3X3 basketball tournament organised by the Andorran Federation and chill-out areas.
