Which PUMA X is right for me: A-Style or B-Style?

The A-Style has a cyclic inspired by Airbus helicopters (H125, H135, H145, H160) and the B-Style by the Bell 206 and 407. Choose according to the models you fly in your simulator. The two grips are interchangeable.

What does the A-Style SnapAction version add?

Its SnapAction buttons have double resistance and double-break switching: the cap moves first and then you have to overcome additional resistance to trigger the function. The feel is firmer and accidental presses are reduced.

What do I need to connect the PUMA X?

A computer with a USB 2.0 port or higher and a simulator that supports USB HID devices. No drivers are needed. The manufacturer does not specify console compatibility.

Does it arrive assembled?

You can choose between the Pre-assembled format, which takes 1–2 hours to assemble with the included tools, and Almost Ready-To-Plug, which only requires fixing the cyclic and collective to the frame (5–10 minutes).

Pro Flight Trainer designs and manufactures flight control sets in Switzerland for helicopter and fixed-wing simulation. Its PUMA X range, now in its 5th generation, combines cyclic, collective and main controls in a compact set that works as an 8-axis USB HID device, with no drivers needed.

At Simufy you will find three versions of the PUMA X 2025: the A-Style, with a cyclic inspired by Airbus helicopters; the A-Style SnapAction, with double-resistance buttons; and the B-Style, inspired by the Bell 206 and 407. The collective can be single- or twin-engine and the pedals can be standard or fitted with the Toe Brake Modification kit, sold separately.
