Which Thermaltake cockpit is right for me?

The GR300 is a steel and aluminium-profile cockpit with a PVC bucket seat, designed both for beginners and for advanced setups. The GR500 has an aluminium-profile chassis, a fibreglass bucket seat and integrated RGB lighting. The GK500 has a go-kart driving position and adjusts to heights from 130 to 195 cm, and the GF500 is the flight simulation cockpit.

What is the difference between the G6 and G15 bundles?

Both include a Direct Drive wheelbase, a 13" D-shape wheel and metal pedals with Hall sensors. The G6 has a 6 Nm wheelbase, while the 15 Nm G15 adds a footrest, an emergency stop button and a brake damping kit. Both come with a desk mount and can also be fitted to the GR300 and GR500 cockpits. The Formula-style F100 wheel is compatible with both wheelbases.

Can I add motion to my Thermaltake cockpit?

Yes. The GM5 3DOF adds pitch, roll and heave with up to 300 kg of payload, is controlled with SimTools and integrates with the GR500 and GF500 cockpits. The GK500 is also compatible with the GM5.

Which flight peripherals does the GF500 support?

Its interchangeable plates for HOTAS, yoke and pedals take peripherals from Virtual Fly, Thrustmaster, Honeycomb, Logitech, Virpil, VKB, Winwing and Turtle Beach, and it works with Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, DCS World and Prepar3D.

Thermaltake is a gaming hardware brand that has created its own simulation line, with racing, kart and flight cockpits, Direct Drive wheelbases, a motion system, a seat and monitor stands designed to work together.

For racing there are the steel and aluminium-profile GR300 and the GR500, with an aluminium-profile chassis, fibreglass bucket seat and RGB lighting. The GK500 reproduces a go-kart driving position and adjusts to heights from 130 to 195 cm, and the GF500 is a flight cockpit with interchangeable plates for HOTAS, yoke and pedals. The fibreglass S700 GT seat fits the GR series cockpits.

For the driving position there are two Direct Drive bundles, the 6 Nm G6 and the 15 Nm G15, with wheel and Hall pedals, plus the Formula-style F100 wheel for both wheelbases. The GM5 3DOF adds pitch, roll and heave in the motion systems category. The ecosystem is completed by triple monitor stands, the monitor mount for the GR300 and accessories such as the Sim Rig Floor footplate, the keyboard and mouse tray and the PC stand with wheels.
