Frank Porté, born in Andorra in 2006, is a young driver who has masterfully combined real and virtual motorsports. His career began in the world of sim racing, excelling in digital competitions with the ACA eSports Team . Thanks to his talent and dedication, he made the leap to real-life competition, participating in the French Formula 4 Championship (FFSA F4) and, more recently, in the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux and the prestigious Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup . This duality has allowed him to develop unique skills, becoming a benchmark in hybrid motorsport.

Why this simulator configuration?

For Frank, it was essential to have a simulator that accurately replicated the feel of his Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car . This would allow him to train from home and prepare for the demanding competitions he competes in. Base and Steering Wheel: SIMUCUBE 2 PRO + V-PGT

Frank trains with one of the most powerful combinations on the market: the SIMUCUBE 2 PRO Direct Drive Base paired with the V-PGT Flywheel , a replica of a modern GT3. This base offers a level of power, detail, and smoothness only available with professional hardware, while the V-PGT rim gives him a comfortable grip and total control during training sessions.

Cockpit and Seat: Sabelt competition structure

The entire simulator is mounted on the Sabelt S99 EVO I Cockpit , a rigid, front-profile structure designed to withstand the loads of direct-drive bases like the Simucube . It features a Sabelt SRS-1 Bucket Seat in Race Yellow , the same finish found on many real-life GT cars, fitted with a Sabelt SeatSlide and Support to ensure a perfect seating position.

The set is finished with a Sabelt SimRacing Harness – Deep Black , which improves immersion and allows the sensations of inertia to be simulated in detail.

Pedals: VRS DirectForce Pro, real feel in every session

In racing, precise braking is just as important as decisive acceleration. That's why Frank uses the VRS DirectForce Pro 3-pedal set, known for its robust construction and fully configurable response. They allow for brake feel fine-tuned to the millimeter, with plenty of sensitivity to train just like in the real thing.

Information and telemetry: everything under control in the race

To keep up with the action on the track, Frank has included two key Simufy accessories that keep him connected to the race as if he were in a real car:

• SimFlag PRO , which shows you flags and visual indicators without taking your attention off the wheel .
• Race Display Pro RDP-X , a head-up display with key information such as gears, RPM, temperature, delta or lap time.
