The Sabelt DD Front Mount is the front mounting system built from 15 mm CNC aluminium plates that holds the direct drive wheelbase by its front face and allows the wheel inclination to be adjusted independently.
It is the system for high-torque direct drive units that do not anchor through their base. With the wheelbase cantilevered, all the motor's effort is carried by the plates: hence the 15 mm thickness and the enlarged bearing surface, against the 10 mm of a horizontal deck. Inclination adjustment is independent of the rest of the cockpit, so you can set the wheel angle without moving seat or pedals.

Frequently asked questions
Which wheelbases does the DD Front Mount take?
Sabelt lists it as compatible with the Simucube 2 Sport, Simucube 2 Pro and Simucube 2 Ultimate, with the VRS DD and with the Simagic Alpha range: Alpha Mini, Alpha, Alpha Ultimate and Alpha EVO.
Why are the plates 15 mm and not 10 mm?
Because the wheelbase is cantilevered, held only by its front face, and all the motor torque is carried by those plates. The 15 mm gives the surface area and rigidity needed to avoid flex under intense force feedback.
What can be adjusted?
Inclination is adjusted independently, so you can set the wheel angle without touching the seat or pedal position.
How does it differ from the Wheel Deck?
The Wheel Deck is a 10 mm horizontal plate: the base sits on top and bolts down from underneath. The DD Front Mount holds the base by its front face with 15 mm plates and adds inclination adjustment. Which one you need is determined by how your base's mounting is designed.
Does it include the chassis profiles?
No. It includes the aluminium plates, the fixing part and the screws. The aluminium profiles that join it to the chassis are not included; on Sabelt cockpits they are already part of the structure.
How much does it weigh and what warranty does it carry?
Shipping weight is 3 kg and the package measures 39.5 × 24.2 × 12.7 cm. It carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty, handled at Simufy by our own technical service.
