On a triple monitor setup rigidity matters more than on a single screen: any variation in angle between panels breaks the continuity of the image and forces a recalibration. Bolted to the chassis, this mount makes the three screens and the cockpit move as one unit, so the geometry holds even when you move the rig. It is a complete assembly: it needs no other base mount.
