A karting simulator is a training rig that reproduces the driving position and control feel of a competition kart. In this collection you will find the RS:Kart range from Racing Sims, built in New Zealand on a real Cadet or Senior chassis: the static SPORT, the PRO with 3DOF motion and the ULTIMATE with 6DOF motion. All include a Simucube direct drive base, three 27″ curved monitors and a pre-configured PC with Assetto Corsa. They are designed for schools, teams, academies and drivers. What does a professional karting simulator include?

A professional kart simulator starts from a real chassis. All three RS:Kart models share a competition kart chassis with a Jecko seat, a hydraulic brake with a Bosch pressure sensor, pedals with a throttle position sensor, a kart steering wheel and an adjustable steering column. Steering is handled by a Simucube 2 Sport direct drive base with 17 Nm, and the package is completed by three 27″ curved monitors at 180 Hz.

How to choose your karting simulator

  • RS:Kart SPORT: static version, with no motion platform, for karting schools, teams and drivers who train away from the track.
  • RS:Kart PRO: 3DOF motion with 4 100 mm actuators that convey load changes and track surface variations. The screens move with the chassis.
  • RS:Kart ULTIMATE: 6DOF motion with 7 actuators, adding front and rear traction loss and surge. Aimed at teams, academies and high-performance centres.
  • Cadet or Senior chassis: the Cadet reproduces the kart used in junior and youth categories and accepts optional pedal extensions; the Senior reproduces the one used in adult categories.

RS:Kart software and platform

The RS:Kart is a PC-based system. It runs on its own Racing Sims Cube (Intel Core i7-14700F, 32 GB DDR5, AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and Windows 11 Pro), supplied pre-configured with Assetto Corsa for karting. It is not compatible with PlayStation or Xbox.

Frequently asked questions about karting simulators

How much does a professional karting simulator cost?

The RS:Kart range starts at €19,999.99 (SPORT with Cadet chassis). The SPORT Senior costs €22,499.99; the PRO, €28,999.99 in Cadet and €31,499.99 in Senior; and the ULTIMATE, €43,899.99 in Cadet and €46,199.99 in Senior. All include chassis, base, screens and PC.

What is the difference between the RS:Kart SPORT, PRO and ULTIMATE?

The motion. The SPORT is static, the PRO offers 3DOF with 4 vertical actuators and the ULTIMATE reaches 6DOF with 7 actuators by adding 2 for traction loss and 1 for surge. Chassis, PC, screens and steering base are the same.

Which chassis should I choose, Cadet or Senior?

The Cadet reproduces the kart used in junior and youth categories and accepts optional pedal extensions for shorter drivers. The Senior reproduces the one used in adult categories. The rest of the equipment is identical.

Which base and screens does the RS:Kart use?

A Simucube 2 Sport direct drive base with 17 Nm and a 22-bit absolute encoder, and three 27″ curved monitors at 2560 × 1440 and 180 Hz.

Is it compatible with PS5 or Xbox?

No. The RS:Kart runs on its integrated Racing Sims Cube PC with Windows 11 Pro, supplied pre-configured with Assetto Corsa for karting.

Can I customise the simulator?

Yes. Options include an adjustable seat slider, pedal extensions for the Cadet, a custom livery, the Racing Sims Xtreme PC and 12 additional months of warranty. To combine them, request a tailored quote.
