The StarTech USB32HD4K is a USB 3.0 (USB-A) to HDMI adapter with a DisplayLink chip that adds a 4K video output at 30 Hz to any PC, compatible with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and Linux, without using up a graphics-card output.

It works as an external USB graphics card: connect an HDMI monitor, TV or projector to a free USB-A port and the system recognises it as an extra display to extend or mirror your desktop. In a racing simulator it is the practical way to add an auxiliary screen for a telemetry dashboard when your graphics-card outputs are already taken by the triple or ultrawide setup.
