The Ascher Racing Gen6 Single Paddle Shifter is a set of single-action magnetic shift paddles for sim racing, with a contactless Hall sensor and sealed IP67 electronics, developed for motorsport and compatible exclusively with Ascher Racing's McLaren Esports wheels.

They use the same standard technology as the McLaren Artura GT4 to deliver a firm, precise, play-free magnetic response. Working contactlessly and with no internal mechanical switches, they keep an identical snap-action feel after millions of actuations, with no temperature drift and no need for calibration. This is the single-paddle-per-side version, lighter than the double (57 g per shifter without paddle).

Compatibility

The Gen6 Single Paddle Shifter is compatible exclusively with the Ascher Racing McLaren Esports wheel series, with identical mounting points for easy component swapping. The sealed electronics withstand a -40 °C to +85 °C range and require a gasket between the paddle and the wheel housing (not included). To convert a wheel from double to single shifter you need the Gen6 Shifter Conversion Cable for Artura Series. The box includes 2 Gen6 single shifters, 2 three-pin connection cables, mounting hardware (4× M3x8, 2× 6 mm spacers and 4× M3x14) and, depending on your choice, no paddles, 2 Formula or 2 GT.

Do I need anything to go from double to single?
