The Logitech G432 is a wired gaming headset with virtual 7.1 surround sound (DTS Headphone:X 2.0) that combines 50 mm drivers and a flip-to-mute mic for immersive play on PC, console and mobile.

It offers dual connectivity —a USB DAC for PC/Mac and a 3.5 mm jack for consoles and mobile— with a 6 mm cardioid boom mic, ear cups that rotate 90° with leatherette padding and a volume control on the ear cup itself. The 7.1 surround sound and EQ profiles require the Logitech G HUB software on Windows.

Compatibility

The G432 works with PC and Mac (via USB DAC or 3.5 mm jack) and with PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch consoles, plus mobile devices, through the 3.5 mm jack. The 7.1 DTS Headphone:X 2.0 surround sound and EQ settings are only available on Windows with the Logitech G HUB software; on other platforms they run in stereo. They're a great audio addition to your sim setup or gaming rig.

Does the 7.1 sound work on console?

No. The 7.1 DTS Headphone:X 2.0 surround requires the Logitech G HUB software on Windows. On console and mobile the headset runs in stereo via the 3.5 mm jack.

How does it connect?

Two ways: the included USB DAC for PC/Mac, or the 3.5 mm jack for consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Switch) and mobile devices.

Can I mute the mic quickly?

Yes. The mic is flip-to-mute: it mutes automatically when you lift the boom and folds out of the way when you don't need it.

Does it need software?

To enable the 7.1 surround sound and EQ profiles, yes — Logitech G HUB on Windows. As a stereo headset it works without installing anything.

Is it suitable for sim racing?

Yes. The positional audio helps you place the car and the environment —engine, braking, rivals— and its dual connectivity makes it compatible with PC and consoles.
