The Sabelt Asetek Front Mount is the front mounting system built from 15 mm CNC aluminium plates, designed specifically for Asetek SimSports direct drive wheelbases.

Asetek units anchor through their front face, bolting straight onto the aluminium housing of the base, with their own pattern that does not match Simucube, VRS or Simagic. That is why Sabelt makes this set separately rather than reusing the DD Front Mount. The 15 mm plates keep the base free of vibration even with force feedback at maximum, and inclination is adjusted independently of the rest of the cockpit.

Why does Asetek need its own mount instead of the DD Front Mount?

Because the front mounting pattern on Asetek wheelbases differs from that of Simucube, VRS or Simagic. The plates are machined specifically for the Asetek aluminium housing, so they are not interchangeable.

Can the wheel angle be adjusted?

Yes. Inclination is adjusted independently, so you can set the angle of the base without moving the seat or the pedal set.

What is in the set?

It includes the aluminium plates, the fixing part and the screws. It does not include the aluminium profiles that join it to the chassis; on Sabelt cockpits those profiles are already part of the structure.

Is it compatible with every Sabelt cockpit?
