The Conspit ARES APEX is an 8 Nm Direct Drive wheelbase for sim racing, compatible with PC, with a 21-bit magnetic encoder and CDR Quick Release system, aimed at drivers who want professional Force Feedback in a compact format.

The latest addition to Conspit's ARES series, the APEX condenses the line's motor and Force Feedback system into a more compact body. Its skewed-pole Direct Drive motor is purpose-built for sim racing and tuned alongside professional drivers to reproduce real vehicle dynamics. It is one of the most accessible direct drive wheelbases for stepping up to professional-grade Direct Drive.

Key features

  • 8 Nm holding torque with a skewed-pole (Skew-Pole) Direct Drive motor custom-built for sim racing.
  • 21-bit high-resolution magnetic encoder for precise steering angle detection.
  • Asymmetric dual processors at 170 MHz + 168 MHz for fast, stable Force Feedback processing.
  • Maximum torque change rate of 4 Nm/ms for an agile response true to vehicle dynamics.
  • CONSPIT CDR Quick Release system for tool-free wheel swaps, with spring contacts and stable signal transfer.
  • Single-piece motor housing machined from aerospace-grade aluminium, with passive cooling and real-time thermal monitoring.
  • CONSPIT LINK 2.0 software with official presets developed with professional drivers.

USB-A Adapter Spacer and industrial slip ring

The ARES APEX features a high-durability industrial slip ring and supports the optional USB-A Adapter Spacer: with it, any USB wheel plugs directly into the front of the base with lossless USB passthrough, without routing the cable back to the PC. The cable rotates with the shaft to eliminate tangling, and a built-in USB Refresher keeps even SimHub wheels running smoothly.
