The Simforge Mark-1 Base Plate Dark Edition is a mounting base for sim racing pedals with a heel plate adjustable for height, angle and depth, built from carbon steel and aluminium profile, and compatible with most pedal sets and 8020 profile cockpits on the market.

Its job is to remove flex and vibration under heavy braking with load cell or hydraulic systems, so the pressure curve stays consistent and braking points remain repeatable. This is the Dark Edition, finished in textured matte black powder coating that resists scratching and corrosion, as opposed to the silver anodised finish of the Standard version.

Will it fit my aluminium profile cockpit?

Yes. The kit is designed for common 8020 aluminium profiles and includes slotted brackets that let you align and lock the base quickly and repeatably; it can also be mounted on metal decks.

The heel plate sets height, tilt and depth, so ankle angle and foot reach adapt to your footwear and driving position without drilling any parts.
