The Simucube 3 Sport is a 15 Nm peak torque direct drive wheelbase for sim racing, compatible with PC, built for drivers stepping into high-end direct drive with the same architecture and firmware as its bigger siblings.

Designed in Finland and manufactured in the EU by Granite Devices, it runs a direct drive optimised SPM motor and a 23-bit absolute angle sensor with over 8,000,000 steps. Every unit is laser-scanned during production to build a digital twin of its motor, and the control algorithm works on that model rather than the physical motor — the result is whisper-quiet operation and consistent response from one unit to the next. A Simucube Link Hub is required to operate, and the Link Quick Release is bought separately within the Simucube range.

Simucube Link Hub: mandatory. A single Link Hub serves every Simucube device you own, so if you already have an ActivePedal or a Valo GT-23 you do not need another one.
Simucube Wireless Wheels: compatible through the Link Hub and the Link Quick Release.

Does the Simucube 3 Sport work without the Simucube Link Hub?

No. The Simucube Link Hub is essential: it replaces the wheelbase's direct USB connection and handles communication with the PC. One is enough for your entire Simucube setup, so if you already own an ActivePedal or a Valo GT-23 you do not need to buy another.

Is the Link Quick Release included with the wheelbase?

No. The Link Quick Release for Simucube 3 is sold separately and is required to fit any wheel, wireless or USB.

Is 15 Nm enough, or should I go for the Simucube 3 Pro?

A GT3 car asks for peaks of roughly 8 to 12 Nm, so 15 Nm covers the vast majority of situations. The real difference is headroom: the Pro's 25 Nm leaves more room above those peaks, so the force feedback signal clips less under heavy load. The Sport shares its SPM motor, sensor, control algorithm and Control Box with the Pro; only the available torque changes.

Is it compatible with PlayStation or Xbox?

No. The Simucube 3 Sport is a PC-only wheelbase for Windows and offers no console compatibility.

Can I use my Simucube 2 wheel on the Simucube 3 Sport?

Yes. Simucube Wireless Wheels run through the Link Hub and USB wheels connect like any other USB device. Both cases need the Link Quick Release, and if your wheel uses a 50.8 mm bolt pattern, the Simucube 50.8 mm to 70 mm adapter as well.
