The Ascher Racing B16-USB is a CNC-machined aluminium button box with 16 programmable inputs and adjustable magnetic paddles for sim racing, PC-compatible over USB and fitting most wheel bases via its universal 6×70 mm mount.

It is a motorsport button plate that turns any racing rim into a complete sim racing wheel. Machined from black-anodised automotive aluminium with laser engraving, it carries Ascher Racing's magnetic motorsport paddles —with force adjustable from 260 to 800 g using the included magnets and spacers— and comes in two button layouts (B16M and B16L) to suit your rim's geometry.

Both versions are identical in electronics, performance and compatibility; only the button layout changes to match the rim's geometry:

Compatibility

The Ascher Racing B16-USB is a USB button box for PC; it is not console-compatible. Its universal 6×70 mm mount with M5 holes makes it compatible with most Direct Drive bases (Simucube, MOZA, Asetek, Simagic, VRS, Conspit, AccuForce, Leo Bodnar and Fanatec DD1/DD2 with Podium Hub) and with standard 70 mm Quick Releases up to 88 mm outer diameter. It fits sport rims from MOMO, OMP, Sparco, Sabelt, MPI and more; the Quick Release is not included as standard.

Does the Ascher Racing B16-USB work on console?

No. It is a platform-independent USB button box for PC; it connects directly to the computer and is not compatible with consoles.

What is the difference between the B16M and the B16L?

Only the button layout. The B16M is designed for rims with a flat centre and deeper spokes (higher buttons) and the B16L for rims with a curved centre and narrower spokes (lower buttons). Electronics, performance and compatibility are identical.

Can the paddle stiffness be adjusted?

Yes. The magnetic paddles let you set the actuation force between 260 and 800 g by combining the included magnets and spacers.

Which bases and Quick Releases is it compatible with?

With most Direct Drive bases thanks to its universal 6×70 mm pattern (Simucube, MOZA, Asetek, Simagic, VRS, Conspit, Fanatec with Podium Hub…) and with standard 70 mm Quick Releases up to 88 mm outer diameter. The QR is not included.

Which steering rims does it support?

Standard sport rims from brands such as MOMO, OMP, Sparco, Sabelt or MPI. It is not recommended with very concave or deep-dish rims.

Does it include labels for the buttons?

Yes, it includes more than 120 labels (stickers) for buttons and encoders in black, white and various colours, plus blank options to create your own.
