The PXN VD6 Bundle is a sim racing package built around a 6 Nm constant torque (7 Nm peak) direct drive wheelbase, a 280 mm wheel and a two-pedal set with Hall effect sensors, compatible with PC and aimed at drivers stepping up from a belt or gear-driven base.

The VD6 base uses a 20-pole low-inertia direct drive servo motor, a 24-bit magnetic encoder and the PXN Sense+ algorithm, which shapes the force feedback response. Its aluminium chassis includes intelligent temperature control to keep torque stable through long stints, and the whole set is tuned from the PXN SimRacing software. It is a solid starting point for building a racing simulator without giving up direct drive.

No. PXN only states compatibility with PC running Windows, so the package does not work on PlayStation or Xbox.

What exactly does the PXN VD6 package include?

The VD6 direct drive base, the 280 mm W AS wheel, the PD HM two-pedal set, a table clamp, the power adapter, the cable, a toolkit and the user manual. No clutch pedal is included.

How much torque does the VD6 base deliver?

Can the PXN VD6 wheel be swapped for another one?

Yes. The base uses PXN's own Quick Release system, so it takes PXN wheels prepared for that mounting.

Does the PXN VD6 need a separate power supply?

Nothing else to buy: the package includes its power adapter. The USB cable only handles the data connection to the computer.

Can the PXN VD6 be mounted on a cockpit?

Yes. Beyond the table clamp supplied, the base has mounting points to bolt it to a cockpit or a rigid stand.
