Frequently asked questions

Does the Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Extreme work on PS5 and PS4?

Yes. The ClubSport DD+ base is officially licensed for PlayStation and works natively on PS5 and PS4, as well as on PC (Windows). The included wheel is PlayStation-only; for Xbox you would need an Xbox-licensed wheel.

How much torque does the base deliver?

The ClubSport DD+ base delivers up to 18 Nm of constant torque. Older units started at 15 Nm and reach 18 Nm through a free firmware update via the Fanatec App.

Does the bundle include pedals?

No. This bundle is made up of the wheel and the base. You will need compatible Fanatec pedals (RJ12 or USB connection), sold separately.

Which bases does the Gran Turismo DD Extreme wheel work with?

The wheel is compatible with the ClubSport DD and ClubSport DD+ bases (and the Podium DD from 2026). Compatibility with other bases is planned through future firmware updates.

Do I need a cockpit to use it?

The base fixes via a rail system with T-nuts, so mounting it on a cockpit or rig is recommended. It does not include a table clamp.

Which simulators is it ideal for?

It offers the most advanced official experience in Gran Turismo 7 on console and performs at its best on PC with Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing, rFactor 2 and other titles.
