The Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro in its 8 Nm version is a sim racing bundle with a direct drive wheelbase and the Boost Kit 180 included (8 Nm), officially licensed by PlayStation and Gran Turismo and compatible with PS5, PS4 and PC, aimed at drivers who want the full power of the GT DD Pro platform from day one.

The pack brings together the direct drive wheelbase with the Boost Kit 180 already fitted, the 280 mm Gran Turismo steering wheel, the two-pedal metal pedal set and the table clamp. It delivers smooth force feedback thanks to patented FluxBarrier technology and fast mounting via the Quick Release QR2 system.

Does the Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro 8 Nm work on PS5 and PS4?

Yes. The bundle is officially licensed for PlayStation and works natively on PS5 and PS4, as well as on PC (Windows) through the Fanatec SDK. It is not compatible with Xbox unless you swap the wheel for an Xbox-licensed one.

Does this bundle deliver 8 Nm out of the box?

Yes. This version comes with the Boost Kit 180 already fitted, so the wheelbase delivers 8 Nm of torque from day one, with no need to buy extra accessories.

What is the difference from the 5 Nm version?

The hardware is the same, but this version includes the Boost Kit 180 (180 W power supply) that raises peak torque from 5 to 8 Nm. The 5 Nm version can be upgraded later by buying the Boost Kit separately.

Can I upgrade the pedals later on?

Yes. The pedals accept the Load Cell Kit for more realistic pressure-based braking and the Clutch Kit to add a clutch. Neither is included in the bundle.

Do I need a cockpit to use it?

Not necessarily: the bundle includes a table clamp compatible with desks from 5 to 60 mm thick. It can also be mounted on a cockpit or rig with standard fixings.

Is it a good option for PC as well as PlayStation?

Yes. With 8 Nm it performs strongly in PC simulators such as Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing or F1, as well as in Gran Turismo 7 on console.
