Compatibility

Platforms: PC (Windows) with all the major simulators. The CSL DD wheelbase becomes compatible with Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S when fitted with a Fanatec Xbox-licensed wheel (the included CSL P1 V2 is not). It is not compatible with PlayStation and cannot be upgraded to be.
Fanatec ecosystem: the wheelbase accepts every sim racing wheel with QR2 Lite, QR2 or QR2 Pro without torque restriction, Fanatec pedals with RJ12 connection, the ClubSport Shifter — including the Static Shifter Paddles — ClubSport handbrakes, the Boost Kit 180 and the rest of the brand's cockpits and mounts.

What exactly does this bundle include?

Five components: the CSL Cockpit V1.5, the CSL Cockpit Seat, the CSL Steering Wheel P1 V2 with QR2 Lite Wheel-Side preinstalled, the 5 Nm CSL DD wheelbase with QR2 Lite Base-Side preinstalled and the two-pedal CSL Pedals set.

Does it work on consoles?

As supplied, the bundle is designed for PC. The CSL DD wheelbase becomes compatible with Xbox One and Series X|S when used with a Fanatec Xbox-licensed wheel, sold separately. It is not compatible with PlayStation and cannot be upgraded.

Will the cockpit cope if I buy a stronger wheelbase later?

Yes. The CSL Cockpit chassis is designed for every Fanatec Direct Drive wheelbase, even the 25 Nm Podium DD2, and its pedal plate handles the forces of a load cell brake.

How do I go from 5 to 8 Nm?

By adding the Boost Kit 180, sold separately, which raises peak torque to 8 Nm. The wheelbase must only be used with the included 90 W power supply or that Boost Kit: any other power supply voids the warranty.

Can I add a third pedal or clutch?

Yes. The CSL pedal set is modular: the Clutch Kit adds an affordable third pedal, and the Load Cell Kit adds the third pedal while upgrading the brake to a load cell with improved electronics.

Can I fit a different seat to the cockpit?

Yes. Besides the included CSL seat, the cockpit supports most standard racing seats, such as the SPARCO R100 QRT.
