The Fanatec ClubSport Racing Wheel F1 Ready2Race is a high-end sim racing bundle with a Formula 1 wheel in blue forged carbon, the officially PlayStation-licensed 18 Nm ClubSport DD+ Direct Drive wheelbase and the CSL Elite V2 pedal set with a load cell brake, ready for PS5, PS4 and PC.

The wheel-plus-wheelbase combination is the official ClubSport Racing Wheel F1 — the wheel is not sold separately — and the wheelbase debuts FullForce technology; on top of that, every ClubSport DD+ goes from 15 to 18 Nm with Fanatec's free firmware update. It sits at the top of the Ready2Race bundles range by Fanatec for PlayStation and is one of the most advanced console-licensed direct drive wheelbases available.

Platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC (Windows). The console licence lives in the wheelbase, with the F1 wheel licensed for PS5.
Other platforms depend on the wheel attached; with the included F1 wheel there is no Xbox compatibility.
Fanatec ecosystem: works with all QR2 sim racing wheels (QR1 Lite and QR2 Lite wheels are limited to 8 Nm), Fanatec pedals with RJ12 connection, every version of the ClubSport Shifter, ClubSport handbrakes and all Fanatec cockpits. ClubSport Static Shifter Paddles are not supported.

Is the wheelbase 15 or 18 Nm?

18 Nm of holding torque. Fanatec raised the ClubSport DD+ from 15 to 18 Nm through a free firmware update (May 2026, version V1.4.2.3 or later): any unit updates in minutes via the Fanatec App.

Does it work on PS5 straight out of the box?

Yes. The ClubSport DD+ wheelbase carries the official PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 licence and the F1 wheel is licensed for PS5, so the bundle is plug and play on console and also runs on PC with all the major simulators.

Can the F1 wheel be bought separately?

No. The ClubSport Steering Wheel F1 PS5 with its blue forged carbon plate is exclusive to the ClubSport Racing Wheel F1 set and is not sold on its own.

How is it different from a CSL DD bundle?

It is a full step up in class: more than double the torque (18 Nm versus 5–8 Nm), the FullForce protocol, full metal QR2 with no torque restriction, a carbon wheel with OLED and leather, and the CSL Elite V2 pedal set with a load cell brake instead of a spring brake.
