The Fanatec CSL DD QR2 Ready2Race Vision GT is a sim racing bundle with a 5 Nm Direct Drive wheelbase, an officially licensed Porsche Vision Gran Turismo steering wheel and the CSL pedal set, compatible with PC, built for a complete setup with concept-car styling.

The Porsche Vision Gran Turismo was the first Porsche concept designed exclusively for a video game, and this bundle brings that design to your simulator: all three components arrive with QR2 Lite preinstalled and ready to connect. It belongs to the Ready2Race bundles range by Fanatec; the CSL DD, one of the most compact direct drive wheelbases in the range, upgrades to 8 Nm with the Boost Kit 180, and the pedal set accepts a third pedal.

Compatibility

  • Platform: PC (Windows). This bundle is not console-compatible: the Vision GT wheel has no PlayStation or Xbox licence, and the CSL DD QR2 wheelbase cannot be upgraded for PlayStation.
  • If you later add an Xbox-licensed Fanatec wheel, the wheelbase will also work on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Fanatec ecosystem: works with all QR2 sim racing wheels (Lite, standard and Pro), Fanatec pedals, the ClubSport Shifter, ClubSport handbrakes and all Fanatec cockpits.

Frequently asked questions about the Ready2Race Vision GT bundle

Is the Vision GT bundle compatible with PlayStation or Xbox?

No. As delivered, the bundle works on PC (Windows) only. The CSL DD QR2 wheelbase can be used on Xbox when combined with an Xbox-licensed Fanatec wheel (not included), but it is not PlayStation-compatible and cannot be upgraded to be.

Can I increase the wheelbase's 5 Nm of torque?

Yes. The Boost Kit 180, sold separately, unlocks the CSL DD's full 8 Nm of peak torque. It is the only alternative power supply allowed: using any other supply voids the wheelbase warranty.

What exactly is included in the box?

The CSL Elite Porsche Vision GT wheel with QR2 Lite Wheel-Side, the CSL DD wheelbase with the QR2 Lite Base-Side (Type-C) preinstalled, a 90 W power supply, USB-C cable, 4 T-nuts, the two-pedal CSL set with heel rest, an RJ12 cable of around 2 m, a Torx key, mounting bolts and quick guides.

Can I add a clutch pedal to the CSL pedal set?

Yes. The Clutch Kit adds a third pedal, and the Load Cell Kit adds the third pedal while also converting the brake into a load cell brake for better braking feel.

Does the Vision GT wheel have a display?

Yes, it features an OLED display that shows game telemetry, such as the current gear or speed, and gives access to the Fanatec Tuning Menu.

Do I need tools to mount the wheel on the base?

No. The QR2 Lite system comes preinstalled on both the wheel and the base: the motorsport-derived tapered coupling attaches and releases without tools.
