The Fanatec CSL DD QR2 Ready2Race WRC is a rally sim racing bundle with the 5 Nm CSL DD Direct Drive wheelbase, a CSL Elite wheel officially licensed by the World Rally Championship and the CSL pedal set, compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.

The WRC wheel has the Xbox electronics built in, so the wheelbase becomes console-ready the moment you attach it — and it is the same model used in official WRC Esports competitions. It belongs to the Ready2Race bundles range by Fanatec and is built around one of the most popular direct drive wheelbases for getting started the right way.

Why does this bundle work on Xbox?

Because the CSL Elite WRC wheel has the Xbox-specific electronics built in. Once attached, the CSL DD wheelbase becomes compatible with Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S; on PC it works with any Fanatec wheel.

Is it only for rally, or for circuit racing too?

Both. The 300 mm round rim and up to 2,520° of rotation make it suitable for GT, touring cars or drifting, although its lightweight build and Snapdome paddles are made for the rapid inputs of titles like EA SPORTS WRC or DiRT Rally.

Can I upgrade from 5 to 8 Nm later?

Yes, with the Boost Kit 180 (not included), the 180 W power supply that unlocks 8 Nm. It is the only permitted alternative to the standard 90 W unit: using any other power supply voids the wheelbase warranty.

What exactly is included in the box?

The CSL Elite WRC wheel with its interchangeable Racing Style buttons, the QR2 Lite Wheel-Side (installed before first use), the CSL DD wheelbase with the QR2 Lite Base-Side (Type-C) preinstalled, the 90 W power supply, 4 T-nuts, a USB-C cable, the two-pedal CSL set with heel rest, an RJ12 cable, a Torx key, mounting bolts and quick guides.

Can the wheel's paddles be removed?

Yes. The orange metal paddles are removable, designed so the wheel can be combined with the ClubSport Static Shifter Paddles (sold separately).

Is it compatible with PlayStation?

No. The CSL DD wheelbase does not work on PlayStation consoles and cannot be upgraded to do so. If you race on PS5 or PS4, choose a bundle with the Gran Turismo DD Pro or ClubSport DD+ wheelbase, which carry the PlayStation licence.
