The PXN A7 is a 6+1 H-pattern gear shifter (six gears plus reverse) for sim racing, compatible with PC and with PXN wheels through triple connectivity, aimed at anyone who drives with a manual gearbox in rally, GT or truck simulators.

It pairs an ABS housing with a solid steel gear shaft for a firm, mechanical feel. Reverse is push-down: return the lever to the centre, press down and engage it in the 6th-gear position. It adds function buttons —a handbrake (Park) and a high/low range selector (HI/LO)— aimed at truck simulators, and the knob height adjusts by up to 3 cm.

Compatibility

PC running Windows: connects directly with the DIN-to-USB cable and works alongside any sim racing wheel on the PC.
PXN V9, V10, V99 and V12 Lite wheels: via the DIN-to-RJ11 cable, which lets you use it on PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S through that wheel.
Wheels with a DIN socket: via the DIN-to-DIN cable.
It does not work on its own on a console: it must be connected to a compatible PXN wheel.
Mounts with the clamp to a desk or to the frame of a cockpit.

Is the PXN A7 sequential or H-pattern?

It is a 6+1 H-pattern shifter: six gears plus reverse. It has no sequential mode. Reverse is push-down.

Does it work on PS5, PS4 or Xbox?

Not on its own. On a console it must be connected to a compatible PXN wheel (V9, V10, V99 or V12 Lite) via the RJ11 cable. On PC it works on its own over the USB cable.

How do you engage reverse?

Move the lever to the centre position, press the knob down and slide it into the 6th-gear position; reverse engages there.

What are the HI/LO and Park buttons for?

The HI/LO selector switches between high and low range in truck simulators; the Park button acts as an emergency stop in-game when normal braking isn't enough.

Which cable connects it to each device?

The DIN-to-USB cable to a PC, the DIN-to-RJ11 cable to PXN wheels and the DIN-to-DIN cable to wheels with a DIN socket. All three are removable and about 1.5 m long.

Can the knob height be adjusted?

Yes. The gear rod adjusts in height by up to 3 cm and the assembly is removable to suit your posture.
