The OPLITE R8 Fury chassis is the hybrid 6063 T6 aluminium profile and E355 tubular steel structure of the R8 Fury cockpit, without a seat, to fit your own seat and build a compact, rigid rig, compatible with Direct Drive wheelbases over 30 Nm and load cell pedals.

It is the same base as the R8 Fury cockpit but without the seat, ideal if you already have a seat or prefer to choose one separately (OPLITE’s RS2 FiberCore bucket seat is compatible). Compatible with hydraulic actuators for motion systems, it supports GT, NASCAR, Rally or Trophy Truck driving styles (F1 optional) and expands with the R8 ecosystem, becoming a true racing simulator. It comes in black and white finishes.

Hybrid frame of 80×40 mm 6063 T6 aluminium profile and Ø35 mm E355 tubular steel, 2.5 mm thick.
Steering wheel support in 5 mm E355 steel, adjustable for height, depth and tilt (−10°/+13°).
Pedal support in 40×40 mm 6063 T6 aluminium profile and 5 mm E355 steel plates, adjustable for height, depth and tilt (−9°/+33°).
Seat rails with ±220 mm depth adjustment to fit the seat of your choice (RS2 FiberCore compatible).
Takes Direct Drive wheelbases over 30 Nm and load cell pedals up to 200 kg, and is compatible with hydraulic actuators.
4 long swivel pads included, replaceable with the optional R8 Supreme Castor Wheel kit, with grade 12.9 nickel steel bolts.

Compatibility

The OPLITE R8 Fury chassis is compatible with wheels and pedals from Fanatec, Simagic, Simucube, Moza, Thrustmaster, Logitech, Turtle Beach and Asetek, among others. It takes high-torque Direct Drive wheelbases (over 30 Nm) and load cell pedals up to 200 kg, and works with hydraulic actuators for motion. As a chassis, it works equally with PC and console setups: the final platform depends on the wheelbase, pedals and seat you install. Some devices (for example, certain Thrustmaster wheelbases) may require minor drilling, which does not affect the warranty.

Does it include the seat?

No. This is the chassis (the frame) of the R8 Fury, without a seat, so you can fit the seat you prefer. OPLITE’s RS2 FiberCore bucket seat is compatible and sold separately.

Which wheel and pedal brands does it support?

It is compatible with Fanatec, Simagic, Simucube, Moza, Thrustmaster, Logitech, Turtle Beach and Asetek, among others. Some devices may need a minor adjustment (or drilling on certain Thrustmaster wheelbases) that does not affect the warranty.

Can it handle powerful Direct Drive wheelbases?
