Manufactured by ŽustAl in Žiri (Slovenia) using precision CNC bending and laser welding —the same technology they use to produce parts for CERN— the X Cage is the structure every Novus system is built on, from the PS5 setup to the Misha Spec motion rig. The X Cage is a universal chassis for PC and console sim racing setups. It uses open standards, with no adapters or brand lock-in:

Wheelbases: every direct drive wheelbase on the market —Simucube, Fanatec, Moza, VRS, Asetek— with the ISO 70 mm PCD pattern; belt-driven Logitech and Thrustmaster bases too.
Pedals: Heusinkveld, VRS, Simucube, Simtag and other pedals on the adjustable T-slot platform.
Seats: universal side-mount (M8 bolts) or bottom-mount.
Accessories: T-slot profiles for shifters, handbrakes and button boxes.

Is it compatible with Simucube, Fanatec or Moza wheelbases?

Yes. The X Cage uses the universal ISO 70 mm PCD quick-release pattern, so direct drive wheelbases from Simucube, Fanatec, Moza, VRS and Asetek mount without adapters, as well as belt-driven bases from Logitech and Thrustmaster. Pedals (Heusinkveld, VRS, Simucube…) fix onto the T-slot platform.

Can I add motion later?

Yes. Every X Cage ships from the factory with pre-drilled points for the X Motion Kit. Installation takes 2–3 hours with basic tools and there's no need to remove or modify your wheel, pedals, seat or display: the four actuators mount underneath your existing setup.

Does it hold high-torque direct drive wheelbases?

Yes. The frame keeps zero flex under 25 Nm of torque thanks to the CNC-bent, laser-welded aerospace aluminium. That rigidity is what separates professional equipment from a consumer rig.

Is it hard to assemble?

No. It arrives in 4 main sections with labelled mounting points and assembles in 3–4 hours with the included Allen keys and tools. No welding, drilling or special tools required.

What warranty does the Novus X Cage have?

The frame and welds are covered for 50 years; adjustable components (seat slider, wheelbase mount and pedal platform) for 5 years, and the finish for 2 years.

What driver heights is it designed for?

The X Cage fits drivers from 150 to 210 cm (optimal comfort between 165 and 195 cm) and takes a maximum driver weight of 150 kg, with 20 cm of seat travel and a backrest adjustable from 95° to 135°.
