The Sabelt X99 is an aluminium sim racing cockpit with 160x40 mm base profiles and a raised road-style driving position, made in Italy and finished in matt Galaxy Grey, aimed at rally, drifting and road car drivers.

The 80x40 mm profiles beneath the seat lift the position compared with a formula chassis and reproduce the stance of a road car, while the 160x40 base profiles and 120x40 uprights keep the assembly rigid and vibration-free even with high-torque wheelbases. The cockpit is configured at purchase: you choose the wheelbase mounting system and the pedal mount.

What is the difference between the X99 and the X99 EVO I?

They share the profile architecture (160x40 base, 120x40 uprights and 80x40 beneath the seat) and the road-style position. The X99 on this page is finished in matt Galaxy Grey; the EVO I generation is finished in matt Black Moon with Royal Blue accents.

Does it include a seat?

No. The cockpit ships without a seat and without seat brackets, which are bought separately and chosen to match the bucket seat you want to fit.

Which wheelbase mount do I need?

The multi-wheel deck covers most MOZA, Asetek, Fanatec, Thrustmaster and Logitech wheelbases. The front mount is the one for Simucube 2 and VRS. The Fanatec side mount is specific to CSL DD, GT DD Pro, DD1 and DD2.

How does the X99 position differ from a formula cockpit?

The 80x40 mm profiles beneath the seat raise the position and reproduce the stance of a road or rally car. A formula cockpit such as the P99 places the driver reclined with the legs high.

Does it take high-torque direct drive wheelbases?

The combination of 160x40 mm base profiles with 120x40 mm uprights is sized to work without vibrations with direct drive wheelbases, always with the mounting system suited to each base.
