The Sabelt X99 EVO I is a sim racing cockpit built from 160×40 mm aluminium profiles with a raised road-style driving position, compatible with Direct Drive wheelbases and professional pedal sets, aimed at GT and touring car drivers who want a realistic road car posture.

The 80×40 mm profiles fitted beneath the seat raise the driver compared with a formula chassis and reproduce the posture of a GT or touring car. The structure combines a 160×40 mm base with 120×40 mm uprights, all using proprietary profile sections anodised with Zero-X technology and finished in sandblasted soft-touch Matt Black Moon. Sabelt manufactures the X99 EVO I entirely in Italy and supplies it with a two-year warranty.

Which configuration should you choose?

The X99 EVO I is ordered as a base structure and configured with two optional systems. The base deck system determines how you mount your wheelbase: the flat multi-wheel deck (10 mm plate) takes belt and gear-driven bases as well as mid-size direct drive units; the DD front mount and Asetek front mount (15 mm plates) bolt the base at the front and add independent tilt adjustment; the Fanatec side mount fixes the base at the sides. The pedal mount system offers the Standard Adjustable EVO I, the Ultra EVO I and the Inverted EVO I, depending on whether your pedals are floor-mounted or hanging.

Compatibility

The X99 EVO I is a passive structure with no electronics: it works with PC, PlayStation and Xbox, since the platform is determined by the wheelbase and pedals you fit to it. The seat and its brackets are bought separately and must be Sabelt X Series.
