The SimXPro R80 is a 4080 aluminium cockpit for getting started in sim racing, with a rigid, modular and expandable base, compatible with conventional wheels and direct drive wheelbases, and with a wheel support and shifter support included.

In its reinforced V2 version — with thicker brackets and extra connectors — the R80 gives you a firm structure that won't hold you back: start with a basic wheel and move up to Direct Drive without changing the chassis. Compact (around 1250 x 580 x 680 mm) and made for tight spaces, it is one of the most complete entry-level cockpits, because it includes the shifter support that other basic rigs sell separately.

Compatibility

The SimXPro R80 works with conventional wheels and with direct drive wheelbases: Fanatec (CSL DD, Gran Turismo DD Pro, ClubSport DD, Podium DD1/DD2), Moza, Thrustmaster and Logitech (G29, G923…), among others. It is aimed mainly at PC and adapts to console depending on your peripherals. Always check your wheelbase's maximum torque and your pedal set's braking force. The standard pedal plate takes most Thrustmaster and Fanatec pedal sets; for load-cell or other-brand pedals, SimXPro recommends stepping up to a cockpit with the Profile Pedal Deck.

As a cockpit, the platform is set by your wheelbase and wheel, not the chassis. You can expand it with the optional integrated monitor mount and the rest of the SimXPro accessory ecosystem as you progress.
