Trak Racer TR40S Flight – Flight Simulation Cockpit

The Trak Racer TR40S Flight is an aluminium flight simulation cockpit with a reclining flight seat included, compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane and DCS as well as PC and with sim racing peripherals.

An evolution of the popular TR80 Lite, it combines a wide-body frame with thick-walled 80 x 40 mm aluminium profiles, 120 x 40 mm wheel/yoke supports and reinforced 40 x 40 mm brackets. Its hybrid design accepts a yoke, HOTAS, joystick, throttle quadrant and rudder pedals, as well as sim racing wheelbases, shifters and pedals.

A hybrid flight and sim racing rig

The TR40S Flight is designed to switch between a flight deck and a driving cockpit without changing the frame. The side mounts place your flight controls in a natural position for yoke, HOTAS and throttle quadrant, while the front platform accepts yokes or wheelbases depending on the chosen peripheral.

Compatibility

The TR40S Flight is a platform-agnostic cockpit compatible with PC. For flight simulation it works with Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, Prepar3D and DCS, and accepts yokes, HOTAS, joysticks, throttle quadrants and rudder pedals from Honeycomb, Logitech, Thrustmaster, Virpil, VKB or Virtual Fly. For sim racing it takes pedals, shifters and direct drive wheelbases from the leading brands (Fanatec, Moza, Simagic, Asetek, Logitech, Thrustmaster and Trak Racer, among others). Some peripherals may require additional supports or minor mounting modifications.
