The Brook Ras1ution is a console racing wheel converter that lets you use unlicensed sim racing wheels on PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch and Xbox 360, with force feedback in wheel mode and steering range adjustment from a mobile app.
Developed by Brook (Zeroplus Technology, Taiwan), the Ras1ution sits between your wheel and the console and translates the signal so the system recognises it as a supported peripheral. It features an OLED HUD showing the active profile, a detachable braided cable and two USB ports: the wheel goes into port 1 and accessories into port 2. The Brook Ras1ution app (iOS and Android) connects over Bluetooth to update the firmware and store profiles on your phone.

Compatibility
The Brook Ras1ution works with PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch and Xbox 360. It is not compatible with PS5, Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S: Brook has withdrawn support for those consoles. On Nintendo Switch you must first enable Pro Controller Wired Communication under System Settings, in Controllers and Sensors.
The official list of tested devices covers sim racing wheels and bases from Logitech (Driving Force GT, G25, G27, G29, G920, G923, Driving Force Pro, MOMO), Thrustmaster (T60, T80 Ferrari 488, T128, T150 and T150 Pro in PS3 mode, T300 in PS3 mode, T500 RS, TMX, TMX Pro, TX, TS-XW, TGT, TGT II, T248 Xbox, TH8A and T-LCM pedals), Fanatec (CSL Elite PS4 and DD Pro in PS4 mode), MOZA (R5, R9, R9 V2, R16 and R21 bases with their wheels, plus the HUB, HBP handbrake, HGP shifter and SR-P and CRP pedals), Simagic (Alpha, Alpha U and Alpha mini with GT1, GT4, GTC FX and FX Pro wheels, P2000-R pedals and the DS-8X shifter), HORI, the GTR RS30 Ultra, the FlashFire ES500R and the Microsoft wireless racing wheel for Xbox 360, which requires its receiver. For pedals or a shifter, Brook recommends using accessories from the same brand as the wheel.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Brook Ras1ution work with PS5?
No. The original Ras1ution supports PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch and Xbox 360, but not PS5. If you need to play on PS5, the right model is the Brook Ras1ution 2, which does support PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
Is it still compatible with Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S?
No. Brook has withdrawn Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S support for the Ras1ution. Of the Xbox family, only Xbox 360 remains. For current Xbox consoles, Brook sells the Ras1ution X, a dedicated model for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Does force feedback behave the same on every console?
No. True force feedback is available in wheel modes. In controller mode, and also on Xbox 360 and Nintendo Switch, what you get is emulated vibration rather than force feedback. Strength is adjustable across 5 steps from the converter HUD or from the app.
Can I connect pedals and a gear shifter as well as the wheel?
Yes. The Ras1ution has two USB ports: the wheel connects to port 1 and accessories such as a shifter or a separate pedal set to port 2. Brook recommends accessories from the same brand as the wheel, as it does not guarantee operation when mixing brands.
What do I need to set up on Nintendo Switch?
On the console, go to System Settings, then Controllers and Sensors, and turn on Pro Controller Wired Communication. Without that option enabled, the Switch will not recognise the converter.
How do I update the firmware and save profiles?
With the free Brook Ras1ution app for iOS and Android, which connects to the converter over Bluetooth. From there you update the firmware and save different force feedback and steering range profiles on the phone itself. The firmware can also be updated by connecting the converter to a PC.
