The Brook Ras1ution 2 is a 117.4 g console racing wheel converter that lets you use unlicensed sim racing wheels on PS5, PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, with force feedback and steering range configurable from a mobile app.

It is the successor to the original Ras1ution and the right model if you play on PlayStation 5, where many high-end wheels are not recognised natively. It features an OLED HUD, physical shortcut buttons, a slip-resistant back surface and a detachable braided USB Type-C cable. The Brook Ras1ution app (iOS and Android) connects over Bluetooth to update the firmware and fine-tune each profile.

Compatibility

The Brook Ras1ution 2 works with PS5, PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. It is not compatible with Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S: Brook has withdrawn support for those consoles on this model. For Nintendo Switch you must enable Pro Controller Wired Communication under System Settings, in Controllers and Sensors; for Nintendo Switch 2 you need to update to the latest firmware and select SWITCH mode.

The official list of tested devices covers sim racing wheels and bases from Logitech (G25, G27, G29, G920, G923 in PlayStation and Xbox versions, Driving Force GT, Driving Force Pro, MOMO), Thrustmaster (T60, T80 Ferrari 488, TM128, T150 and T150 Pro in PS3 mode, T248 Xbox, T300 in PS3 mode, T500 RS, TMX, TMX Pro, TX, TS-XW, TGT, TGT II and the TH8A shifter), Fanatec (CSL Elite in both Xbox One and PS4 versions, and DD Pro in PS4 mode), MOZA (R3, R5, R9, R12, R16 and R21 bases with their wheels, plus the HUB, HBP handbrake, HGP shifter and SR-P, SR-P Lite and CRP pedals), Simagic (Alpha, Alpha U and Alpha mini with GT1, GT4, GTC FX and FX Pro wheels, P1000 and P2000-R pedals, DS-8X and Q1S shifters and the TB-1 handbrake), Cammus (C5, C12 and LC100), HORI (RWA, APEX for PS5, EX2 and the Mario Kart Racing Wheel Pro Mini), the GTR RS30 Ultra, the FlashFire ES500R, the Venom Pace Wheel and the Microsoft wheel for Xbox 360, which requires its wireless receiver. Simagic accessories, including the HUB, must be connected to the base rather than to port 2 of the converter.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Brook Ras1ution 2 work with Xbox?

No. Brook has withdrawn Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S support on the Ras1ution 2. The model works with PS5, PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. For Xbox consoles, Brook sells the Ras1ution X, made specifically for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

What is the difference between the Ras1ution and the Ras1ution 2?

The main difference is PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 support, which only the Ras1ution 2 offers. The original Ras1ution covers PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch and Xbox 360. The Ras1ution 2 weighs 117.4 g, measures 12.7 × 8.6 × 3.1 cm and uses a detachable USB Type-C cable.

Can I use my PC or Xbox wheel on PS5 with this converter?

Yes, provided the model appears on Brook's official list. The converter translates the wheel signal so the console recognises it. Validated wheels include models from Logitech, Thrustmaster, Fanatec, MOZA, Simagic, Cammus and HORI, including Xbox versions such as the G923 Xbox or the T248 Xbox.

What do I need to use it on Nintendo Switch 2?

Update the converter to the latest firmware using the Brook Ras1ution app and select SWITCH mode. On Nintendo Switch you also need to enable Pro Controller Wired Communication under System Settings, in Controllers and Sensors.

Is the force feedback real or just vibration?

It is true force feedback when the converter runs in wheel mode and the game supports the simulated wheel. In controller mode you get emulated vibration instead. Force feedback strength and wheel sensitivity are adjusted from the app.

Can I connect pedals, a shifter and a handbrake?

Yes, depending on the brand. Brook recommends accessories from the same manufacturer as the wheel and does not guarantee operation when mixing brands. On MOZA, the HUB with HBP handbrake, HGP shifter and SR-P Lite pedals is supported, as are CRP and SR-P pedals over USB. Simagic accessories must be connected to the base, not to the converter.
