The SOELPEC XR-7 Display is a 6.8-inch 60 Hz touchscreen sim racing dashboard with 30 configurable telemetry LEDs and a 6061 aluminium structure, compatible with PC through SimHub.

It is the bigger sibling of the XR-5: the same machined aluminium approach and SimHub control, but with a noticeably larger screen and a 60 Hz refresh rate. It mounts with two carbon fibre brackets in either a fixed or adjustable position, and connects to your PC with a single USB Type-C cable.

What is the difference between the XR-7 and the XR-5?

The XR-7 uses a 6.8-inch screen at 60 Hz with 30 telemetry LEDs, while the XR-5 uses a 5-inch screen with 33 LEDs. Both share the 6061 aluminium structure, RGB light bars, side buttons, USB Type-C connection and SimHub control.

Does the SOELPEC XR-7 Display work on PlayStation or Xbox?

No. The XR-7 Display is PC only, because all of its functionality relies on SimHub. It is not compatible with PlayStation or Xbox.

What software do I need to run the XR-7 Display?

You need SimHub, the SOELPEC plugin and the SOELPEC Dashboard file. Once installed, the display appears in the SimHub devices section as SOELPEC - XR-7 Display.

Which wheelbases and cockpits does the mounting fit?

The included carbon fibre brackets are compatible with most wheelbases on the market and allow either fixed or adjustable mounting. The 1/4-inch thread adds compatibility with standard mounting accessories.

Why is a powered USB hub recommended?

The manufacturer recommends one for working at high brightness levels, since a USB port without additional power may not deliver enough current for stable operation.
