The TP-Link TL-WPA7617 KIT is an AV1000 powerline kit with an AC1200 Wi-Fi extender that carries your network over the existing mains wiring for up to 300 m of line, bringing a stable connection to rooms the router's signal struggles to reach.

The kit contains two units: the TL-PA7017P adapter, plugged in next to the router, which feeds the network into the electrical wiring, and the TL-WPA7617 extender, which adds a Gigabit Ethernet port and dual-band Wi-Fi in the target room. It uses the HomePlug AV2 standard with a physical rate of up to 1000 Mbps and needs no configuration or software.
