The GETAIL G1-123 is a 123 mm, 163 g steering wheel extender for sim racing, machined from a single block of 6061 aluminium and compatible with direct drive wheelbases using a 70 mm or Simucube bolt pattern, built for setups that need maximum separation between base and wheel.

This is the long version of the G1 range: 123 mm that let you drop the monitor by more than 10 cm, bring the rim closer in reclined driving positions and free up entry space in the rig. All of it at 163 g, a restrained weight for a part this size thanks to single-block machining.

The G1-123 is a mechanical accessory fitted between the wheelbase and the wheel, so it works the same on PC and on console depending on what your own base supports.

Native compatibility, no adapter: Simucube, VRS, VNM and any wheelbase with a 70 mm PCD or Simucube bolt pattern.
Compatible with conditions: Asetek (the wheel must be removed), Fanatec (Podium Hub only), Moza and Simagic with a 70 mm pattern.
Extended compatibility with the G-Universal Adapter: Cammus, Conspit, the full Simagic and Simagic Evo range, Simucube 2, Simucube 3, Simlab, VNM and VRS.
Wheels and quick releases: any with a 70 mm PCD; with the G-Universal Adapter, 50.8 mm PCD as well.

Is the GETAIL G1-123 compatible with my direct drive wheelbase?

It bolts natively onto Simucube, VRS, VNM and any wheelbase with a 70 mm PCD or Simucube pattern. On Asetek the wheel has to be removed, on Fanatec it works with the Podium Hub, and Moza or Simagic require a 70 mm pattern. The G-Universal Adapter adds Cammus, Conspit, Simagic Evo, Simucube 2 and 3, Simlab, VNM and VRS.

When should I choose the G1-123 over the G1-70?

The G1-123 gives 123 mm of extension against the 70 mm of the G1-70. It is the right choice when the base sits well forward of the seat, when you want to drop the monitor a long way, or when running large-diameter wheels in a reclined position.

Does a 163 g extender affect force feedback?

The G1-123 weighs 163 g despite being 123 mm long, thanks to single-block 6061 aluminium machining. The inertia added to the shaft is low and does not noticeably change the detail or the response speed of a direct drive wheelbase.

What is the difference between the G1-123 and the G1-70?

Length and weight: the G1-123 is 123 mm long and weighs 163 g, with 98.5 mm of usable inner space; the G1-70 is 70 mm and weighs 119 g, with 45.5 mm of inner space. Material, bolt patterns and finishes are identical.

Do I need special tools to install it?

No. The staggered dual-helix design gives front access to the bolts, so a screwdriver is enough and the wheelbase does not need to come out of the cockpit.

Does the wheel cabling fit inside the extender?

Yes. The G1-123 leaves 98.5 mm of usable inner space, the most in the G1 range, enough for wheel cabling and for quick release systems with passthrough.
