The VIRPIL CDT-AERO Grip is a flightstick grip for air and space simulation with a dual-stage trigger, 3 four-way hats and an analogue ministick, available in left- or right-hand versions and compatible with VPC WarBRD and MongoosT-50 bases.

Built by VIRPIL Controls and inspired by modern fighter controls, this ambidextrous grip is ideal for H.O.S.A.S. configurations and custom setups. It is part of the VIRPIL Controls range and requires a compatible flightstick base, sold separately.

Choose the right-hand version (CDT-AERO-R) if it is your main flying hand and the left-hand one (CDT-AERO-L) for your throttle hand. For a H.O.S.A.S. setup (two sticks) you can combine both grips.

Compatibility

The CDT-AERO Grip requires a compatible flightstick base, sold separately. It is compatible with the VPC WarBRD Series and MongoosT-50 Series (including WarBRD-D and MongoosT-50CM3), the VPC Rotor TCS collectives and legacy Thrustmaster Warthog/Cougar bases (with functional limitations). Through the base it works as a USB controller on PC (Windows) with Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, DCS World, Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous and other simulators. It is not compatible with consoles.
