The Thrustmaster TSS Handbrake Sparco Mod+ is a two-in-one accessory officially licensed by Sparco that works either as a progressive handbrake or as a sequential shifter, with a 90% metal structure in steel and aluminium and contactless magnetic H.E.A.R.T sensors.

The lever sits vertically for Rally mode or horizontally for GT mode, with a kit included to adjust its inclination. The knob is a 1:1 scale replica of the genuine knob from Sparco's rally and drifting range, and the industrial-class flat coil springs provide 4 kg of resistance on German-made slide bearings.

Can it be used as a sequential shifter?

Yes. The TSS is a two-in-one product: it works as a progressive handbrake or as a sequential shifter (+/-), and the mode is selected according to the game's configuration.

What is the difference between Rally mode and GT mode?

It is the orientation of the lever: vertical (Rally mode) for pulling the handbrake in drifts and hairpins, and horizontal (GT mode) for use closer to a sequential lever. The kit to change the inclination is in the box.

How much resistance does the brake have?

The industrial-class flat coil springs provide 4 kg of resistance, with progressive travel that lets you modulate wheel lock rather than working like a simple on/off switch.

How is it mounted?

It has built-in screw threads to bolt it straight to a cockpit. If you plan to use it on a desk, you need the Thrustmaster TM Racing Clamp, which is sold separately.

Does it work with wheels from other brands?

On PC, yes: over USB it works with every racing wheel on the market, whatever the brand. On consoles it has to be connected via DIN to a Thrustmaster Force Feedback wheel base.

Can the sensitivity be adjusted?

Yes. Thrustmaster's advanced calibration software for PC lets you adjust the electronic range of both the sequential mode and the handbrake mode, and the settings are stored in the product's internal memory.
