The Pimax Dream Air is an ultralight PCVR virtual reality headset weighing under 170 g for sim racing, with Sony Micro-OLED panels and a 110° field of view, compatible with PC and aimed at drivers who want maximum clarity without fatigue during long sessions.

Available from February 2026, the Dream Air packs two 1.35" Sony Micro-OLED panels totalling 27 MP, with HDR, a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and a 100,000:1 contrast ratio. The image travels uncompressed over a 5 m split DisplayPort 1.4a to USB-C cable, while 120 Hz eye tracking enables Dynamic Foveated Rendering to get the most out of your rig. It is an ideal choice to build a more immersive racing simulator or to add to your cockpit with barely any extra weight on your head.

Pimax Dream Air features

  • Under 170 g (headset only): the key argument for long stints without neck fatigue.
  • Sony Micro-OLED panels (2 × 1.35"), 27 MP total, with HDR and a 100% DCI-P3 gamut.
  • 3840 × 3552 px per eye and a 100,000:1 contrast ratio for deep blacks and razor-sharp clarity.
  • Three-layer ConcaveView pancake optics with a 110° horizontal field of view.
  • 90 Hz screen refresh (72/90 Hz) and an uncompressed image over DisplayPort.
  • 120 Hz eye tracking with Dynamic Foveated Rendering and automatic 58–72 mm IPD.
  • Integrated spatial audio (sound tube design) with 2 microphones and dual cooling fans.
