The GSI AH100 V2 is a 100 mm hub extension in billet 6061 aluminium for sim racing, with a 70 mm PCD pattern on both faces and a choice of six anodised finishes.

Its job is simple and very specific: move the wheel away from the base so it sits exactly where you want it. In cockpits with the monitor far away, the base mounted low or a heavily reclined seat, those 10 cm transform the driving position. Being a solid CNC-machined part, it adds distance without introducing play or flex into the column.

Key features of the GSI AH100 V2

  • Gains 100 mm between base and wheel without touching the rest of your setup.
  • 70 mm PCD (6 × M5) pattern on both faces, compatible with most direct drive wheelbases and sim racing wheels on the market.
  • One threaded face and one plain face: mount it either way round depending on where the thread sits in your assembly.
  • Solid billet 6061 aluminium body, CNC-machined — the same material used in competition quick releases.
  • Six anodised finishes: black, red, blue, gold, green and purple.
  • 0.16 kg and six M5 × 12 mm screws in the box.

Compatibility

  • Fits any sim racing wheel or base with a 70 mm PCD six-screw M5 pattern, the high-end standard.
  • Designed around GSI wheels, but not limited to them.
  • No electronics involved: no cables to route, no firmware, no software configuration.
  • If your quick release uses a PCD other than 70 mm you will need an intermediate adapter.

Frequently asked questions

How does it differ from the Hub AH100 listing?

The mechanical specifications are identical: 100 mm of extension, 70 mm PCD on both faces, billet 6061 aluminium and the same screws. What changes is the range of finishes available under each listing. If you are after a specific colour, check the selector on each one.

Will it fit my base and wheel?

Yes, as long as both use the six M5 screw pattern on a 70 mm diameter circle. That is the standard on virtually every high-end direct drive wheelbase and on the wheels designed for them.

Is 100 mm too much? When is the AH50 the better choice?

It depends on your cockpit. The 100 mm version solves setups where the base sits clearly too far away or too low. If you only need to correct two or three centimetres, the 50 mm AH50 is the logical pick: same material and pattern, half the length.

Does it come with the screws?

It includes six M5 × 12 mm screws, which go into the threaded face. The plain face uses the screws from your base or quick release, which already ship with that equipment.

Can you feel it in the force feedback?

The 0.16 kg of the part is irrelevant against the whole assembly, and solid aluminium does not flex. The only noticeable change is that the wheel sits further from the shaft, slightly increasing leverage; it shows up most on high-torque bases and is usually settled with a small gain adjustment.

Which colour should I pick?

It is purely aesthetic: all six finishes share the same mechanics and weight. Black disappears into any setup; the others are chosen to match the colours of the cockpit or the wheel.
