The GSI AH50 V2 is a 50 mm hub extension in 6061 billet aluminium for sim racing, with a 70 mm PCD pattern on both faces and available in six anodised finishes.

Its job is to correct the distance between the wheelbase and the wheel without touching anything else in the rig. When your seating position is almost right but the wheel sits two or three centimetres too far from your chest, half a hub solves what the AH100 overcorrects. Being a solid CNC-machined part, it adds separation without introducing play or flex in the column.

Frequently asked questions

Should I choose the AH50 or the AH100?

It depends how much you need to correct. The AH50 adds 50 mm and is the logical choice when the wheel only needs to come two or three centimetres closer, or when the cockpit is compact. The AH100 doubles the length and suits rigs where the base sits clearly far away or low. Material, bolt pattern and fixing system are identical.

Will it fit my wheelbase and wheel?

Yes, provided both use the bolt pattern on a 70 mm diameter circle, which is the standard on virtually every high-end direct drive wheelbase and on the wheels designed for them.

Why one threaded face and one plain face?

So you can mount it in any combination. The threaded face takes the bolts directly; the plain face lets the bolts pass through into the thread on your base or quick release. That way the hub fits whether the thread is on the base or on the wheel.

Does it affect force feedback?

The 0.1 kg of the part is irrelevant against the whole assembly and solid aluminium does not flex. The only noticeable effect is that the wheel sits slightly further from the shaft, which marginally increases leverage; at 50 mm this is minimal and a small gain adjustment sorts it.

Which colour should I pick?

It is purely cosmetic: the six anodised finishes share the same mechanics, material and weight. Black disappears into any build; the rest are used to match the colours of the cockpit or the wheel.
