The Sabelt Pads Kit is the replacement pad set for the Sabelt SRS-1, SRP-1 and SRX-1 racing seats, filled with 20 mm high-density foam.

It is the same padding fitted as standard on the brand's seats, sold separately. It works both to refresh worn pads after years of use and to change the colour of the seat without replacing the fibreglass shell. Each kit is specific to its own seat model: they are not interchangeable.

Which version should you choose?

The seat you already own decides the version, not your taste: pick the SRS-1 kit if your seat is from the S Series, the SRP-1 if it is the formula-style P Series seat, and the SRX-1 if it is the raised-position X Series seat. Within each model you can choose the finish freely: the kit colour does not have to match the seat's original one, so a Deep Black SRS-1 will happily take a Racing Yellow kit.

Compatibility

Sabelt seats: SRS-1, SRP-1 and SRX-1, each with its own specific kit.
Not compatible: with the GT-PAD XL, which uses its own modular padding system in M, L and XL sizes.
Installation: the pads attach directly to the shell; there is no need to remove the seat from the cockpit.
Add-ons: can be combined with the Sabelt Sim Foam Pro Kit to fine-tune lumbar support or filling.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Sabelt pads kit include the seat shell?

No. The kit contains the pads only. The fibreglass shell is not included: this product is a replacement or a colour change for a Sabelt seat you already own.

Can I fit a kit from another model to my seat?

No. Each kit is designed exclusively for its own model: the SRS-1 kit only fits the SRS-1, the SRP-1 the SRP-1 and the SRX-1 the SRX-1. The shell geometry differs and so does the number of pieces.

How many pieces does each kit contain?

The SRS-1 and SRP-1 kits contain 5 pieces: head pad, seat pad, backrest pad and two side pads. The SRX-1 kit contains 9 pieces: the same plus two shoulder pads and two ear pads.

Can I change the colour of my seat with this kit?

Yes. It is the cheapest way to change the look of the seat without replacing the shell. The SRS-1 comes in Deep Black and Racing Yellow, the SRP-1 in Deep Black and Racing Red, and the SRX-1 in Deep Black and Royal Blue.

How thick is the padding?

All pads are filled with 20 mm thick high-density foam, the same padding fitted as standard on Sabelt seats.

Does it fit the Sabelt GT-PAD XL?

No. The GT-PAD XL uses its own modular padding system in M, L and XL sizes, different from the one used by the SRS-1, SRP-1 and SRX-1 seats.
