The Thrustmaster T-Chrono Paddles are a set of push-pull paddle shifters machined from 100% aluminium, officially licensed by Ferrari and designed exclusively for the Formula Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF1000 Edition.

They reproduce the push-pull system of the real Ferrari SF1000 Formula 1 wheel and replace the standard paddles on the SF1000, whose paddles are interchangeable by design. Their switches use gold-plated silver contacts, giving lower contact resistance and a bounce time of less than 5 milliseconds.

Which wheel are the T-Chrono Paddles compatible with?

Only with the Thrustmaster Formula Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF1000 Edition, sold separately. That wheel allows the paddles to be swapped, and the T-Chrono set is the alternative to the standard ones.

What is the push-pull system?

It is the mechanism used on the real Ferrari SF1000 wheel: instead of pulling both paddles, you push one and pull the other. It changes the ergonomics of shifting and allows a faster, cleaner motion in single-seaters.

Why does bounce time matter?

Bounce time is how long the contact takes to settle after being actuated. At under 5 milliseconds, the shift signal reaches the game with virtually no delay, which shows in quick successive shifts.

Why gold-plated silver contacts?

Silver is an excellent conductor, and the gold plating lowers contact resistance and protects against oxidation, so the shift signal is transmitted more efficiently and reliably over time.

Is fitting them complicated?

No. The paddles on the SF1000 Edition are interchangeable by design: remove the standard ones and fit the T-Chrono paddles in their place, in the same position as the originals.

Are they suitable for GT or rally?

They work in any game, but they are designed for single-seaters: the push-pull motion replicates that of a real Formula 1 car. For GT or rally, many drivers prefer to keep the standard paddles.
