The Sim-Lab P1X Ultimate is a slotted aluminium-profile sim racing cockpit (4 slots per side) and the latest revision of the legendary P1 chassis: it brings back the straight vertical uprights and refines assembly to deliver a fully rigid platform for the most powerful direct drive wheelbases.

Designed from community feedback on the P1X Pro and manufactured in Europe, the P1X Ultimate keeps the P1X dimensions and compatibility but with straight uprights that make wheel fine-tuning and accessory mounting easier. It includes a side mount for a handbrake and shifter as standard, an adjustable pedal deck, levelling feet and seat-mounting bolts.

Compatibility

The P1X Ultimate is a universal chassis for building your racing simulator: it works with any PC and console setup, since PlayStation or Xbox compatibility depends on the base and sim racing wheel you fit. Depending on the base mount chosen:

  • Front mount: Simucube 2 Sport/Pro/Ultimate and Simucube 3, Simagic Alpha Mini DD/Ultimate, MiGe 130ST, VRS DirectForce Pro, Bodnar 50 Series, Lenze MCS12.
  • Wheeldeck (flat, universal): Fanatec CSL/CSW/CSL-DD/GT DD Pro/DD1/DD2, Logitech G25–G923 and Pro, Moza R3–R25, Asetek Forte/Invicta/Prima/Initium, Thrustmaster T-Series and T598, Simagic Alpha Evo, AccuForce V1/V2.
  • Fanatec DD: Fanatec DD1, DD2, CSL DD and DD Pro.

Compatible with over 30 pedal sets (Sim-Lab XP1, Heusinkveld, Fanatec, Asetek, Moza, Simagic, VRS, Thrustmaster…; some require a baseplate or adapter) and with bucket seats via the included bolts. The seat bracket and slider and the monitor mount are sold separately.

What does the P1X Ultimate change compared with the P1X Pro?

The P1X Ultimate is the latest revision of the chassis: it brings back the straight vertical uprights (heavily requested by the community), adds more pre-drilled holes and optimised plates for faster assembly. It keeps the P1X Pro's dimensions and compatibility.

Which direct drive wheelbases does it support?

Almost all of them depending on the mount: front for Simucube 2/3 and Simagic; flat wheeldeck for Fanatec, Moza, Asetek, Logitech or Thrustmaster; and a dedicated mount for the Fanatec DD1, DD2, CSL DD and DD Pro.

Does it include a seat, base, wheel or pedals?

No. The P1X Ultimate is the aluminium chassis with its base mount, pedal deck, side mount, adjustable feet and seat bolts. The seat, base, wheel and pedals are purchased separately.

Is it compatible with PlayStation and Xbox?

The cockpit works with any setup. Console compatibility depends on your base and wheel being licensed for PlayStation or Xbox, not on the chassis.

Can I expand it with accessories?

Yes. Being fully slotted, it accepts keyboard trays, a handbrake, dashboards, button boxes, shifters and more with no mounting restrictions.
