The 12 Nm Alpha EVO shares its chassis, motor and electronics with the 9 Nm EVO Sport: the same 281 × 130 × 110 mm dimensions, the same 6.236 kg weight and the same force feedback platform. What changes is the available torque. The pack pairs it with eleven sim racing wheels from the SIMAGIC catalogue and with five pedal configurations, or none at all if you already own a pedal set.

What is the difference between the 12 Nm Alpha EVO and the 9 Nm EVO Sport?

Only the available torque. Both share the ultra-low inertia motor, Zero-Cogging, 21-bit encoder, DFDF algorithm, 11 ports and active cooling, and have identical dimensions (281 × 130 × 110 mm) and weight (6.236 kg). The EVO Pro steps up to 18 Nm, 317 mm and 8.627 kg, and the EVO Ultra to 28 Nm, 359 mm and 11 kg.

Which wheel and which pedal set should I pick in the pack?

Among the wheels, the GT Neo and the Neo X rims cover GT, touring cars and mixed use; the GTS, GT1 and GTC are GT rims with premium construction; the FX Formula and FX Pro are formula wheels, and the GT Pro Hub lets you fit your own rim. Can I use wheels from other brands with this wheelbase?

Yes. With the SIMAGIC QR-A adapter the wheelbase takes compatible third-party wheels over USB, carrying both data and power with no extra wiring. SIMAGIC's own wheels use the QR50 and QR70 Quick Release systems.

In which positions can the wheelbase be mounted?

It supports bottom, side, front and desk mounting. Only bottom mounting requires no additional accessories; the side, front and desk brackets are sold separately. SIMAGIC warns that the front bracket blocks the magnetic Quick Release interface.

Does it work on PlayStation or Xbox?

No. SIMAGIC lists the Alpha EVO as a PC wheelbase. The whole pack ecosystem (wheelbase, wheel, pedals and accessories) is managed through SimPro Manager on Windows.
