The SIMAGIC Alpha EVO Ultra Pack is a sim racing bundle built around the 28 Nm SIMAGIC Alpha EVO Ultra direct drive wheelbase, plus the wheel and pedals of your choice. It runs on PC and is aimed at drivers who want the most powerful wheelbase in the Simagic ecosystem.
The Alpha EVO Ultra is the flagship of the range, sitting above the 18 Nm Alpha EVO Pro. It uses a five-pole-pair industrial servo motor with an ultra-low inertia rotor and Zero-Cogging technology, a 21-bit encoder, a new-generation DFDF algorithm and HYPER COOL active cooling, and is tuned through SimPro Manager V3.0.0. Configured as a bundle, the wheelbase pairs with eleven Simagic wheels and five pedal sets to build a racing simulator around the way you drive.
Key features of the SIMAGIC Alpha EVO Ultra Pack
- 28 Nm of continuous peak torque: SIMAGIC states this as sustained torque rather than a short-lived peak, thanks to the dynamic cooling system.
- Five-pole-pair industrial servo motor with Zero-Cogging: a reduced-diameter, ultra-low inertia rotor with near-zero torque ripple.
- 21-bit encoder: over 2 million steps per rotation, resolving even micro-movements of the wheel.
- New-generation DFDF algorithm: rebuilds the force feedback curve in real time at microsecond response speeds, with a 180 MHz processing frequency and a 20 kHz response rate.
- HYPER COOL active cooling: air ducting, active fan cooling and Japanese vacuum potting to deliver 100% of available torque stint after stint.
- 11 ports with CAN, CAN FD and USB: snap-on magnetic dash support and an optional QR-A adapter with USB passthrough for third-party wheels.
- 500-ton die-cast, CNC-machined aluminium shell: 11 kg net weight, with an external kill switch included.

Which configuration should you choose?
The pack is built in two steps: first the wheel, then the pedals. The wheelbase is always the same Simagic Alpha EVO Ultra 28Nm, so your choice of peripherals is what steers the rig towards one discipline or another.
Wheels to choose from
Formula-style rims for single-seaters and prototypes, GT and round rims for touring cars and endurance, and the modular Neo X series. These are the eleven sim racing wheels available in the pack:
- GT Neo
- Neo X-350W
- Neo X-330R
- Neo X-310G
- Neo X-330T
- GTS in leather
- GT1 in D-shape and leather
- GT Pro Hub in round and leather
- GTC in leather
- FX Formula
- FX Pro
Pedals to choose from
Five pedal sets, plus the option of configuring the pack without them if you already own a set:
- No pedals: wheelbase and wheel only
- P500: 2 pedals
- P700: 2 pedals
- P1000: 2 pedals, mechanical actuation
- P1000 inverted: 3 pedals, mechanical actuation
- P2000: 2 pedals, hydraulic actuation
Compatibility
- Platform: PC only. SIMAGIC lists support for iRacing and all major PC sim racing titles, including iRacing's native 360 Hz force feedback mode. It is not compatible with PlayStation or Xbox.
- Wheels: QR50, QR70 and QR-A quick releases. Next-generation wheels connect over CAN FD and legacy wheels over 2.4G; third-party wheels connect through the QR-A adapter with USB passthrough, keeping screens, LEDs and buttons working without extra wiring.
- Peripherals: shifters, handbrakes and sequential gearboxes, both legacy (CAN) and next-generation (CAN FD), plus the magnetic dash from the Simagic ecosystem.
- Mounting: bottom mounting needs no accessories. The side (MB-S) and front (MB-F) brackets and the desk fixture (T-LOC) are sold separately; the front bracket blocks the magnetic quick release interface, so avoid it if you need magnetic power and data.
- Certifications: FCC, RCM, VCI, EAC, RoHS and CE.
SIMAGIC Alpha EVO Ultra Pack FAQ
What is the difference between the 28 Nm Alpha EVO Ultra and the 18 Nm Alpha EVO Pro?
Both share the ultra-low inertia motor philosophy, Zero-Cogging and the 21-bit encoder, but the Ultra is a different wheelbase: 28 Nm against 18 Nm, 550 W maximum power, a 48 V supply, 11 ports with CAN FD and USB, 359 mm long against 317 mm, and 11 kg against 8.627 kg. The Ultra also adds a kill switch, the new-generation DFDF algorithm and SimPro Manager V3.0.0.
Is the 28 Nm figure continuous torque or peak torque?
Continuous. SIMAGIC states that the quoted figure is torque the motor sustains over long periods rather than a brief peak, thanks to a dynamic cooling system that prevents thermal torque drop during long stints and endurance races.
Does the SIMAGIC Alpha EVO Ultra Pack work on PlayStation or Xbox?
No. The Alpha EVO Ultra and the peripherals in the pack are PC only. If you need console compatibility you will have to look at a different hardware platform.
Can I use wheels from other brands with the Alpha EVO Ultra?
Yes, with the QR-A adapter. Its universal interface supports USB passthrough, so USB-compatible third-party wheels work with full functionality — screens, LEDs and buttons — without extra wiring. The QR-A is an accessory sold separately.
Do I need to buy extra brackets to mount the wheelbase on my rig?
Not for bottom mounting: the wheelbase ships with two installation kits. Side mounting (MB-S), front mounting (MB-F) and the desk fixture (T-LOC) are optional accessories. Note that the front mounting plate blocks the magnetic quick release interface.
What warranty does the SIMAGIC Alpha EVO Ultra Pack carry?
SIMAGIC provides 24 months of warranty on wheelbases, wheels and pedals from the delivery date, and 12 months on peripherals and accessories. At Simufy you also get specialised technical support and warranty handling as the brand's official distributor in Spain and Portugal.
