The T248R is the evolution of the T248: it keeps the hybrid system and the T3PM pedal set, but is rated at 3.1 Nm of torque and 48 W of constant power, and introduces a 28 cm perforated leather rim with imitation carbon finishes, a colour LCD screen and T-MP paddles with Mag-Shift sensors.

How much torque does it have?

3.1 Nm, with 48 W of constant power. It is a hybrid belt-and-gear wheel: it delivers considerably more detail and force than an entry-level wheel, but not the torque of a direct drive wheelbase.

Does the T3PM pedal set have a load cell?

No. It uses contactless Hall Effect (H.E.A.R.T) sensors and offers 4 brake pressure configurations via springs, but it is not a load cell brake. For a load cell you need to step up to the T-LCM pedal set.

What is the screen for?

The colour LCD screen shows more than 20 displays (engine speed, selected gear, lap times) and lets you change the wheel's settings without leaving the game. The 4 LEDs flag the ideal moment to shift up.

Does it work on Xbox?

No. The T248R is officially licensed for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 and also works on PC. It is not compatible with Xbox consoles.

Is it a direct drive wheelbase?

No. The T248R uses the T-HD hybrid belt-and-gear system. It is a very complete mid-range wheel, but it does not deliver the torque or the level of detail of a direct drive wheelbase.
