The Simgrade R7 Clutch is the load cell clutch pedal from the R7 Spec C range, built in heavy duty stainless steel with the brand's signature dual action arm, made to add the third pedal to a two-pedal R7 set.

Its defining feature is the moving heel support: the heel travels up and down with the foot, so contact is never lost at any point of the stroke. Simgrade puts the resulting gain in control accuracy at practically double that of a conventional arm. The whole assembly runs on ball bearings and spherical rod-ends, is silent and needs no lubrication.

Does the R7 clutch pedal work on its own?

No. It is an add-on that connects to the R7 Spec C control box through its 25 cm cable. It has no electronics or USB connection of its own.

What is the dual action arm?

It is the R7's signature structure: the heel support follows the movement of the pedal arm, so the foot keeps contact through the whole stroke. Simgrade states this practically doubles control accuracy.

Is it compatible with every R7 version?

This pedal is the Spec C specification, the current one. If your pedal set is an earlier spec, it is worth confirming control box compatibility before ordering.

How does it mount?

On an 87 mm lateral by 80 mm longitudinal pattern, directly onto 80/20 aluminium profile of at least 40 x 120 mm or two profiles. It includes 4 M6 T-nuts and 4 M6-16 bolts with washers.
