The PXN Vector X is a competition-grade sim racing pedal set with a load cell brake adjustable from 0 to 200 kg and a dual-sensor throttle, compatible with PC and available as a two or three-pedal set, aimed at drivers chasing braking repeatability.

The structure combines carbon fibre, 304 stainless steel and 6061 aluminium, with an external aluminium-housed control box running at 24-bit resolution (16,777,216 points per axis). The set bolts to the included aluminium plate or straight onto your cockpit, and every parameter is fine-tuned in the PXN SimRacing software.

Which version should you choose?

The two-pedal set covers anyone driving sequential boxes or paddle shift, which is most modern GT cars and single-seaters. The three-pedal set adds the 30 kg load cell clutch, whose two-stage mechanical linkage reproduces the bite point of a real clutch: it is the one to pick for classics, rally and H-pattern cars, or if you regularly do standing starts. The clutch can also be bought separately later on.

Compatibility

Platform: PC running Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11, USB connection, plug and play.
Because they connect over USB independently, they work with any direct drive wheelbase, PXN or otherwise.
Mounting on the included aluminium plate or straight onto aluminium profile.
They are not compatible with PlayStation or Xbox consoles.

PXN Vector X FAQ

What is the difference between the 2-pedal and 3-pedal sets?

The 2-pedal set includes throttle and brake. The 3-pedal set adds the clutch, with a 30 kg load cell and a two-stage linkage that mimics the nonlinear resistance of a real clutch. Everything else is identical.

Do they work with a non-PXN wheelbase?

Yes. The Vector X connects straight to the PC over USB through its own control box, so it is independent of the base. You can use it with a direct drive wheelbase from any brand.

Are they compatible with PlayStation or Xbox?

No. The PXN Vector X is a PC pedal set (Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11) and does not work with PlayStation or Xbox consoles.

Which brake springs are included and what load do they take?

Two interchangeable springs are supplied: the red one takes up to 125 kg of braking force and the green one up to 187 kg. Force is also adjustable in software across a 0 to 200 kg range.

What can be adjusted physically on the pedal?

With a 5 mm hex key and the four M6 side screws you can move the pedal face around 17 mm in height, around 15 mm fore and aft, and up to 43.5° in tilt. On top of that, travel, spring force and dead zones are set in software.

The throttle is not recognised in Le Mans Ultimate — what should I do?

PXN recommends opening the controls.json file in the LMU/Userdata/Player folder and setting the DirectInput Fallback parameter to true. Then test and calibrate the pedal again.
